Each holiday season, a mystery man known only as “Pete” leaves cash donations to benefit the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center and the disabled local children the organization helps. He finds creative and festive ways to display the annual cash contribution of thousands of dollars, which he hides somewhere outside the rehabilitation facility. A phone call to staffers sends them searching for the gift, which was given this year inside a Santa cookie jar. This winter, Pete hit the 20-year milestone of donations to the Indiana-based center, WTVW reports. He has contributed almost $68,000 to the organization over the years.
