According to Hits Daily Double, Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar will headline the annual desert music festival, along with Radiohead. Now in its 18th year, the festival will once again take place over two weekends, April 14th – 16th and April 21st – 23rd, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. For Radiohead, it’ll mark their third time headlining the festival following appearances in 2004 and 2012. Their latest visit to Indio comes in support of their excellent 2016 LP, A Moon Shaped Pool. Beyoncé previously made surprise appearances at Coachella in 2010 and 2014, but this will be the Queen’s first time performing a set of her own. Better late than never, she’ll be showcasing the year’s best album in Lemonade.
Kendrick will also headline Coachella for the very first time, but it won’t be unfamiliar ground for the acclaimed rapper. Not only did he grow up in neighboring Compton, he pulled double duty at Coachella in 2012. That year, he performed a set of his own on Friday and then appeared as a surprise guest for Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s headlining set on Sunday. During Coachella 2016, he crashed Ice Cube’s set. Coachella organizers did not respond to our request for comment. An official lineup announcement is expected early next year;
