Destructive weather seems to be in the news constantly and the weather in California is causing big headaches for residents of Southern California. Southern California’s Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Diego, Huntington Beach and San Pedro were some of the areas affected by high winds, massive rainfall and a tornado that touched down outside of Los Angeles.

Wind guests have been reported as exceeding 90 miles per hour in Southern California as powerful thunderstorms continued. A rare tornado officially touched down today in California, just outside Los Angeles and four water spouts were reported by the National Weather Service.

Long Beach, Seal Beach, San Pedro and Huntington Beach were the hardest hit by the fast-moving storm today. It caused flooded streets, damaged homes as well as producing hail and ice.
