American Idol David Cook has a special female fan he’s been keeping under wraps. She’s Kimberly Johnston, 35, an Atlanta model who travels with him as he tours the country.
Kimberly Johnston and Cook, 26, have been con necting since just about the time he won the competition, reports PageSix.
The lovebirds have been spotted “canoodling” at out-of-the-way places late at night after his concerts. She secretly met Cook at the bar of a London Hotel, according to sources. While in town, Johnston stayed at a budget hotel, the Marrakech on Broadway. Last Friday, she drove from Atlanta to see him perform in Knoxville, Tenn., sources say.
Cook broke up with his singer girlfriend Kimberly Caldwell in December last year. They started their relationship shortly after Cook’s Idol win in May 2008, with the rocker publicly asking Caldwell on a date on the red carpet before the seventh season finale.

However, according to David Cook’s fan site, they do not believe it true. They think this girl only looking out for publicity.
