Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan Dead at 28

Jimmy Sullivan the drummer from the rock band Avenged Sevenfold has passed away Monday night at his Huntington Beach home. He was 28.

He was known as The Rev by many. He was believed to die from natural causes. Jimmy is survived by his wife Leana MacFadden aka Leana Silver.

The Rev also was back up vocals for the band too. Songs he is known for are “A Little Piece of Heaven”, “Brompton Cocktail”, “Gunslinger”, “Lost”, “Afterlife”, and “Almost Easy”.

The band confirmed the news of his death Monday night.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world’s best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy’s family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time.
